Cellphone Use During Instructional Time

As of February 1, 2021, we will be implementing a NO CELL PHONE POLICY during instructional time.

The staff has found that students are being continually distracted with text messages, Snapchats, and other social media platforms, and in turn they are not focusing on their work.

The students will be allowed their phone only during recess breaks and lunchtime.   If your child has Bluetooth capability they will be able to listen to a playlist that already has been created.   If your child has an Apple watch/Smart watch they will be asked to turn off their data and put it on airplane mode.

If there is an emergency situation and you need to relay a message or speak to your child, please call the office at 250-632-2811.
