Special Video Address from Dr. Bonnie Henry to Thank Teachers, Educational Assistants & School Staff

Dr. Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer has prepared a special video address to thank teachers, educational assistants and school staff for all their work during these unprecedented times.

As we continue to flatten the COVID-19 curve in B.C., Dr. Henry shares it is crucial that we maintain the supports established for the children of essential service workers and make sure we continue to expand the provision of in-person support for vulnerable students, and students with disabilities and diverse abilities.

Please watch Dr. Henry’s video and share with your colleagues.

Message for Parents and Guardians

Hello,

It has been great for us to connect with our students and parents via Microsoft Teams, emails texting and phone calls.

We definitely miss all of you!!!   Our school is too silent.

The student laptops have been delivered. If your child is still needing one, please do not hesitate to contact the school. Just a reminder that all students have assignments that are due at the end of every week.

I will be sending out letters to all parents, updating you on where your child is at. Just a reminder that report cards were mailed out last week and that should also give an accurate overview on how your child is doing.

The staff at Kitimat City High hope that all of you are continuing to stay healthy and safe during this pandemic.

Once again, if you need anything please contact us at any time.

Nancy
